Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-10-02
This English version is provided for your convenience. If there is any conflict between it and the Korean version, the Korean version prevails. By using Altair ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. We have written down only the rules that actually apply.
01Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
02Your logs
A public or friends-only log is up to 140 characters; a private log is up to 1,000. There is no limit on how many you write. When you write a log, the moon phase at that moment and your location (a place name only, e.g. city/district) are saved with it. Precise coordinates are never stored.
03Observation and confirmation
Only public logs can be observed and confirmed. A public log that no one has opened yet is shown blurred ("veiled"); the first person to open it "observes" it, the log is then confirmed, and this cannot be undone. The text of a confirmed log is public. Friends-only and private logs are never confirmed and can be edited or deleted at any time.
04Your content rights
You own the logs, comments, and photos you create. The Service uses them only as needed to store and display them, to provide the observation feature, and to run content checks. After you end your journey, public logs that other users have already observed may continue to be shown in anonymized form (with no author shown).
05Prohibited conduct
- ·Spam or advertising, steering people to gambling or illegal sites, or exposing external contact details.
- ·Profanity or insults, hateful or discriminatory expression.
- ·Sexual content, or sexualizing other people.
- ·Illegal information, impersonating others, or exposing other people's personal information.
06Content checks
Logs and comments may be checked automatically when posted, and content found to break the rules above may be withheld from public view.
07Reporting and action
You can report a log or comment from its card. When a report is received, the content may be withheld automatically, and we review it and take any necessary action. If you block another user, you and that user can no longer see each other's logs and comments.
08Zero tolerance for harmful content
- ·We apply a zero-tolerance policy to harmful content and abusive behavior.
- ·We review reported content within 24 hours of receipt and take necessary action, such as withholding or deleting it, when it breaks the rules.
- ·Users who repeatedly break the rules may be restricted or have their journey ended.
- ·You can send questions or appeals through the in-app contact channel.
09Changes to or interruption of the Service
Altair is an independent personal project. Features may change, or the Service may be interrupted, without notice.
10Disclaimer
You are responsible for the content of your logs and for your interactions with other users. The Service is provided "as is," and, to the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for interruptions, errors, or data loss.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Contact: zoe@vanegyre.com.
